My Husband, My Friend

God reached down from above
Sent my husband, my love
My friend, my turtle dove

He is precious to me
In my world, he's my glee
I'm thankful for him
My lover, my friend

Like a knight in shining armor
He defends my honor
He's my "Sugar Bear"
The king of our lair

His love's such a blessing
In this life, he's refreshing
