Daddy On My Mind



We don't the reason
God chose to call Daddy home
But He knows all things
And someday we'll understand



We miss him now
And God comforts our souls
Because He's the great Comforter
And He's been there before



Now we know we'll see him again
If we've been saved from sin
Look forward that day
God will give you the grace



Daddy will be standing at the gate
Light beaming from his face
To welcome his family home
Never more to roam



I pray the family circle
Will not be broken on that day
We'll be complete again
When together we stand



I wrote this my family
Because I have Daddy on my mind
I miss him so bad
And I feel so sad



But I know I've been saved
And I'm going to that place
Where loved ones never part
And there will be no broken hearts
